After majoring in communication design at the Parsons School of Design in the United States and working as a member of the Strategic Marketing Team at Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Ha Seok-Jun obtained an MFA degree from the Korea National University of Arts as a media art major.

 

It is working with artificial intelligence by combining technology and art with data on art scenes that it will see in the near future by presenting its media performance, "The Monk - Platform of Suffering Performance," in Milan and Korea. In 2014, he was the director of an art project called "Finding electronic trash" and visited India for electronic trash.

 

He received the grand prize in the ‘New Hero’ competition organized by monthly Public Art Magazine in 2015 and was selected as s ‘Quantum Jump’ artist during his residency at the Gyeonggi Creation Center in 2016, thus holding a solo exhibition in the Project Gallery of the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art. After resident artist in the MMCA(National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea) Residency Goyang, he showed  new works at the Cheongju Craft Biennale 2017, Seoul Mediacity Biennale 2018 in Korea.
